i got a buddy who is tryin to set me up with a race against a couple 2005+ RSX's, one has full bolt on's and hondata and the other has CAI, Exhaust and hondata...
anyone have any idea what these cars should run up here with those mods? ive ran modded RSX Type-S's before but it wasnt much of a match, then again they were pre 05 models and didnt have the hondata.
any info would be appreciated, my buddy says that they are pretty quick and it should be a good run, just lookin for some more info on how quick these cars are.

Could you get more of a grasp other than "full bolt-on's". I mean, technically a turbo is a bolt on....in which case, I would go ahead and tuck tail and run.

If they were no match for you when they were stock, I don't think you have to worry about an RSX with just bolt-ons (I/H/E)
A buddy of mine has an 02 GReddyTurbo RSX-S (@6.5lbs) and he ran a high 14 at bandi with a terrible launch and 60ft. He might be a better match if he can get traction...

depends on the bolt on.... I would guess at fastest low 13's- if you can beat that you're ok. (as a rule of thumb most bolt ons up here dont buy you more than 14's if that)

depends on the cai. if it's one of these then you should ask for 10 1/2 car lenghts.

depends on the bolt on.... I would guess at fastest low 13's- if you can beat that you're ok. (as a rule of thumb most bolt ons up here dont buy you more than 14's if that)
Bolt ons (minus any FI systems that 'bolt-on') are not going to get you anywhere NEAR 13s up here...

Why do you need info on how fast they are? Will you still race if they were indeed fast? Just race them and find out, plan and simple.

just like to do my homework. ill race him no matter what.
the guys on redline forums are saying that the new RSX type-S's can go into the 13's with just bolt on's, so i was just lookin for some information to confirm that. i know they wont do 13's up here with bolt on's but it would be nice to know what i am up against.

A friend of mine did some dyno tests with parts on an RSX. One CAI actually caused a loss in wheel horsepower, so.. you'll probably be fine :rolleyes:

yeah its definetly a given out here in this altitude.....if indeed this guy just has i/h/e and hondata and nothing more, than I wouldn't have even wasted my time on making this thread......your definetly gonna win...
