Depends on what you want. I normally cut the stock flanges off and use them if the exhaust is not going to be saved. But when you go with 3 inch it is difficult. The price of the exhaust goes up about $10 per flange used.

No, you said nothing about flanges when we talked. If you want flanges made or installed they are about $10 for each flange used.

sorry I didn't say anything about them because I really don't know much about this... OK so how many flanges are needed for that piping? and is that 10 for have them made and installed or for just made or for installed? Another thing is that I don't have the stock exhaust... I don't have an exhaust at all.

Well, you dont really NEED flanges if you dont plan on taking the exhaust on and off a bunch of times. But if you need it to be removable it will need to have some flanges in it. Probably one at the muffler, one in the center somewhere and one at the cat.

well wat would you recommend...... If I was to not have flanges and then got a cat converter can you still put it on even though you can't move the exhaust... What would be the reasons to move the exhaust... If any. Let me know what you would do.... so that I decide what I want to do about this now...

You dont have a cat? I thought this was a catback exhaust you wanted. If you ever want to take it off to do rear supension work or sell it or for any readon it would have to be cut off it it wasnt flanged. Then to put it back on it would have to be welded. On my own cars I usually put at least one flange in there somewhere so I can take it on and off.

I do have a cat... I think that's what I'm going to do... get flanges.... Can I schedule for you to put it on in two weeks? How long will this take, since is my daily driver for now. Do you think I can get those flanges out of another old tegra exhaust?

I will need the car for the day. If you are close we can arrange for a ride for you or we do offer rental cars.

Thanks, but I can get someone to give me a ride back.... I was just thinking what if it was going to be more than one day. Plus yeah I live pretty far from your shop. I'm trying to get other flanges from another integra exhaust. Can you use those? What do you think is the perfect number to have for the exhaust. I know you said one on the muffler and at the middle. So how many total? And whats the whole cost of the flanges and the piping and the labor(with however many flanges you recommend)? Also doing this 3 in piping will be better than having just a regular aftermarket exhaust right? The car is turbo'd but later on I want more power... You told me once that 350hp cars is where the 3 in gives you gain... right?

Used flanges are difficult to weld correctly, I would rather use new ones. Cleaning and welding used ones (which wont be 3 inch) are going to take more time and cost more. Total installed with two flanges and gaskets is going to be $270
