I havent torn the block apart to check out the damage yet, but the ppl that are interested in this thing usually tear it apart anyways. Im sure the crank is still good, I dont remember the miles ~160xxx or so, Id have to check. Just seeing if anyone is interested

If you sell the head to b20badboy, I would still be interested in just the bottom end and block. Might work out better.

well, b20badboy if you need a b16 head i have one i could part with. as for ballpark let me "search" around for a decent price. Im thinking it should be worth just a bit more than a generic obd1 b16 and as for 250.. lol no

ok how much do you think a motor w/ a spun bearing is worth?

if it spun the bearing, it may have messed the crank up,,, might have to take the oil pan and windage tray off and check it out

i've been thinking about this also, if the bottom end is bad, whats a good dohc head and rebuildable bottom end worth. and the b17 is suppose to be kinda rare but that don't mean anything to me personally. i figure a b16 is just as good. i think 2gencrx offer was proably just a starting offer it was kinda low but not too bad i was think maybe $350-400 at the most for it would be reasonable. figing you can get a good jdm b16a longblock from hmotorsonline for $650. just my thought.
maybe you could get more selling the block and head separtly
