had a compression test before it was pulled.
maybe you should include the numbers that the tester reached for each cyl, telling us you did it with no values is about as usless as an asshole on my elbow.

numbers would be good. It sounds like a great deal!
not to be a stickler for details, but your last post said that it had 114k miles on it and no tranny?
and he said 11 days ago: Compression tested : 1-128, 2-129, 3-127, 4-128
I'm gettin it retested before i pull the motor.
But im not all that mechanically inclined - I can barely even spell correctly, but I guess looking back at the last post we still need to know what the conditions were under which the compression was tested, or has since then.
Sorry, I havnt had my meds today. heh

LOL, why should i have to look at multiple threads to get info on one item?
the more info the easier the sale will be.

The compression test was done with a compression test gauge and was read as this.
1: 129psi
2: 127
3: 127
4: 128
There is nothing wrong with this motor, it was pulled due to a vtec motor being put in. I will guarantee that it works/starts up upon correct install, after that what you do with the motor is your choice. Sorry if there's any confusion

Still curious about the mileage discrepancy and if the numbers are all there or not. I guess I dont have any doubts as to if it runs or not, a "running" engine is entriely subjective anyway. heh.

As far as the milage goes; The first post said 114k because that is what the cluster said. Found out more information on my car and talked to the previous owner and his story is, Its a DC2, but his car got stolen some months ago, and they got it back, and he just wanted to get rid of his car, so they put in a LS motor for quick sale. He told me this motor has less than 100k, when they put it in, he said the milage on the cluster said 92,xxx...hope that helps all of you that are interested, I just want to be honest about this sale, and that it goes good for whoever buys it. Nonetheless, its still a strong and good motor.
Here is the VIN: JH4DC456TS018569 This is on the motor itself.
would i need axles and shift linkage?

manual tranny, no grind, running before i pulled it, doesn't need new timing belt yet, you will need axles, and shift link.
