The pic is of a 944, but the 924 is similar looking... the 924S is even the same drivetrain and suspension as the 944, but with a 924 body.

They do have a Spec E30 class out here... not a ton of cars in that class here, but it's growing.

The 924S has slightly different suspension geometry with stamped steel control arms like older pre=1985/2 944's, vice light alloy arms like the post 1985/2 944's, and it has narrower wheels with smaller tires. There are several other differences too, but they are pretty similar.

Yeah, it's a mix of early and late 944 parts, with a 2" narrower track and 15x6 wheels instead of 15x7. But it's also 200lbs lighter, has less aerodynamic drag, and is about half the price nowadays, so it has it's advantages too... I'm seriously considering using one as a 944-spec class racecar (with wheel spacers and 15x7 phone-dial wheels).
