which headgasket?

i have a 81.5 stock sleeve built b16, i was wondering if honda makes a 81.5 gasket? also need a waterpump, which one is better i heard itr was but? i was also looking at an ebay bottom end gasket set, anyone habe experience with these? does honda sell a bottem end set?

Honda only makes pistons in a .25 over bore for the b16's, but I'm only seeing 81mm headgaskets. You'll have to go Cometic or something custom. As far as an eBay gasket set, you get what you pay for. I personally wouldn't wanna risk saving that extra $20. You can get all the stuff from Honda. As for water pumps, I think the ITR water pump is the same as the GSR pump, I'm not 100% sure on this though. Either way, you might wanna' consider doing your oil pump, too if it's old, as well as timing belt, etc. You'll need to get a GSR belt if you switch to GSR/ITR pump(s). Hope this helps.

Id go with gsr everything and get oem honda gaskets. spend the extra few bucks, and you wont have to wait for the shipping and risk of them taking your money and not sending the gasket set.

yeah i need all that, is the itr oil pump better? i also need the head alignment dowl pins, where can i get some par #. also ive read some bad thing about commetic hg, what about golden eagle?

so what size is the ovebroe on it because 81.5mm is = .20 over

get a golden eagle head gasket, they are stock honda gaskets bored to your bore, thats what I use (85mm). Get all gsr oem parts.. you can get ITR as well but any Vtec parts work just fine.

No, you have to use a GSR t-belt with those pumps, but your B16 tensioner will work fine.

Hmmm, I dunno about that. Basically you'd be covering up some of the piston. My guess would be that it'd burn up right away.

They work as long as the piston to head/dome clearance is in the clear. You don't want a smaller bore headgasket if the piston sticks up. Of course you'll have more to worry if that happens!!

ok ghandi do you havw any stock alignment dowl pins? how much for a head gasket oil and waterpump and t belt? i will pick it up today, your shop is pretty close to our yard.
also the cr of the pistons is 9.0:1
