I say that on the discovery channel, that looked like a blast. and 6k at the end, I would have loved to do that. But if I remeber correctly, there prices are now fixed, and you do not get as much money.

If you only make $6k, you need to find a new boat. Prices are negotiated and then set, never fixed, the fishermen set the price or else the canneries don't get crab. Trust me, you wouldn't want to do it, you'd cry the first day out. I've been doing this crap for 14 years and I still get scared sometimes.

I tend not to get scare when I should. Just look at my bike, the repaires that I have done and what I do for fun.
