Other then it being the biggest gun you can get with out a class3 liscense or what ever, what is the point/use of owning one?

There are a ton of things that people have that arent practicle for everyday use. It's just about what you like. Just like B said, A 12 second car isnt practical for everyday use, just those times you need to haul ass. Just like a .50 cal isnt practical for everyday use, just those times when a tank is rollin' down your street.

The Barrett (M82A1) doesn't recoil too bad, they are pretty slick. The AR-15 .50 conversions will put a whomping on ya though. So will the bolt action 50s.

Why do you need one? 2000+ yard accurate range, that's why. :D

looks like a dinky .50 cal. Not knocken it but I thought your friend bought the gun in that pic that lady was shooting. I can imagine that one your friend bought looks pretty pansy in terms of your body is gonna take all the recoil and not the gun itself. Don't break your shoulder shooting it lol. That bullet looks pretty damn expensive.
