So I have a 93 civic hatchback d16....i have gotten my stereo stolen out of it and I am sick of getting shit stolen from my car. I am looking at security systems; so heres the question...How hard will it be to install myself? I want one with automatic locks, but my locks are manual, so could that work? Also, systems with the remote start....obviously wouldnt work on a standard car...right?

Please any help is appreciated.

Also, I need some dents removed, new wheel bearings and a new timing belt....any suggestions on good, low priced shops in the Denver area?

thanks in advance

You can convert to power locks and you can also install remote start on a standard although it is illegal.

An alarm is only as good as the install, So attempting to install it yourself probably wouldn't do you a whole lot of good. I know there have been a few reputable people on here in the past that did it but I don't know if any of them still do.
