I know that many dealers go to auctions and buy cars there and resell them for a higher price. I want to skip the middle man and go attend car autions myself. Anyone know of any public auto auctions that sell decent cars? I know about the one off of oxford and sante fe, but any others?

check with the city of denver impound to see when they have their impounded car auction. i think its every month.

i know aurora impund uses rollerauction.com and their always klode.com but you need a refundable $2000 buyer fee.

There is also pacific auto auction in commerce city, don't remember the exact address but its just off of quebec & 270. But the public auto auctions from what I've seen are generally older crappier cars. Get in good with a dealer and have them buy a car for you at one of the closed auctions, You will get a much better deal that way.

Klode and COpart are both open to the public
i know at klode you need a 2k deposit to get in to the auction and if you dont buy anything you get it back at the end of the day the sale is every monday. the closest location is off santa fe and almost highlands ranch parkway on the west side on santefe

You can get some decent deals a Pacific if you know what you're looking for. But beware... schill bidding is the norm. I've bought 3 cars there, I got good deals on 2 Mopars and schilled big time on the Jag.
