I know the commercials are re-goddamn-dickulous but has anyone ever used them, or had any experience with them? My credit is pretty bad(about 590, unfortunately). I'm paying off a repossession right now, i know my interest rate will be high but at least i will be rebuilding credit if I purchase a vehicle, correct? I don't want anything crazy, probably just a nice(r) pickup or jeep. I just thought I'd ask and see if anyone has any pos/neg feedback from them. There is a bar none on 104th and federal, they seem to have some ok cars.

Thanks in advance guys,
Kevin.

They are for the last resort in buying a car you should go to kids auto or something before Bar-None

I've heard a lot of stories about a lot of those places not actually reporting loans to credit companies, so it really doesn't do anything for you

They either have their own financing branch OR they have something set up with a lender for people with bad credit or first time buyers.

More often than not, they raise the prices of their vehicles drastically.

Avoid them and go to a legit dealership (may have to visit more than one) and ask about a first time buyers program OR a if they deal with lenders who are willing to work with people with bad credit.

Yeah, tell them up front that you're going to need to go to the special finance department and see if they can help you out.

Forgot to mention: That's what I did for my Accord... about 5 years ago.

Went to Pikes Peak Acura and told them up front that my credit was bad.

They happened to have two lenders that dealt with bad credit and they hooked me up. They even dropped the price of the CD7 by 1500 to help me get the approval.

i'm pretty sure you had to put more down though right, JL LGT? Your interest rate will be higher as well, since you are a higher risk correct?

Yep, I put money down as well.

The interest rate was higher than normal, but not as bad as BarNone or J.D. Byrider (if anybody remembers) would have it.

Plus... the Accord was priced under BB and NADA... which made it that much easier.

It was my fault my credit was bad, so I had to bite the bullet on the interest rate.

yeah i guess there is no other way around it. If you don't mind me asking how much did you have to put down and how much was the car?

remember do NOT tell them what you want your montly payments to be... they will almost always find a loan that suits what your montly payment is, but the length of the loan is stretched out to like 8 years!!!

exactly and by then i've paid the car off almost twice, with a high interest rate.

I walked in with 1200$ to put down (tax refund).

If you have to... wait and build up a down payment and your credit. You'll appreciate it a whole lot!

You will pay alot more for the vehical that what it is worth and they like mentioned before sometimes don't report your stuff for credit reasons. My friend used to work there as a car salesman that's how I know bought this ish.
