Sorry Stu, wish I had thought to call you on the way down. Like Conrad said, you are always invited, and always welcome to ride shotgun.
My bet is B is sleepin like a mofo right now. Almost 24 hours of driving on 3 hours sleep.
Conrad, see if you can get them to post their pics soon. They are the only ones that got shot of everyone going over the wall.

That was an understatement, I think I was out before my head hit the pillow. We partied friday night, got like 3 hours of sleep. Went to Dallas, bought the truck, started driving at 8pm MST, stopped and slept for about 3 hours. Went wheeling, then had to go to the airport to pick up my other truck and got home about 10. UGH, long weekend (but fun of course).

Forgot to post a pic of my broken shock mount bar. I dunno when this happened on the trail but noticed the back end was a little too bouncy when we got back on the road.

It would've over heated or dropped some rods out the oil pan instead. It was a lose lose situation.
M@, not much but there's a little work that I need to do. Nothing major.
Conrad, I took the shocks off, they're in the bed.

I'm talking to my dad now about the mishap. He works at a shop.

IRt3hsuck... :(:(:(:(
Unfortunately I didn't take the time to look at the pedals, if I actually had hit the brake it would have been better. As it happened, it would have been better to just let it bump into it without peeling out in reverse. I still feel like shit over doing that.
If only your truck was about 18 inches taller, our tires would have just bounced off one another.
Where was the point of impact? You guys sure suck at restating the facts of an accident. :(

He was doing drifting donuts in a rutted field on a sunny at the time field. When his lack of driving ability made the truck flip!

So many HAI accidents to choose from.
Basically he parked behind me, about 2' from my rear bumper. I had shut off the jeep and got out to disconnect the swaybar. Well there was tension on it so I couldn't get it off, so I hopped back in started it up and pulled forward about 6" or so, because Conrad was in front of me. And I *thought* I threw it in park, but obiviously I put it in reverse. I hopped out again and immediately noticed it rolling backwards. So I launched back into the seat blindly aiming at the brake pedal. Just about the time my spare bumped into B's rear fender, in between the rear tire and the cab, my foot landed on the gas instead causing it to throw dirt and push even more backward. Nice fucking manuever. Yes I'm a fucking douchebag.

Thanks guys. Just don't reverse anywhere near me. I mean park. I always get those confused.
On a side note, I spent $10 at a carwash trying to blast all the mud off last night and still didn't get it all. Fuck mud. Brandon had the right idea skipping that sinkhole. I wish I had too.

Meh, I wont care if you back into my jeep. Its the reason I bought a cheap jeep. A jeep without dents is like me without a jack and coke...its just not natural.

It sure looked like fun but since I have a bad seal I didn't want to get mud in my axle. I sure am glad I didn't since I don't like washing it all off either.
Conrad
10-23-2006, 03:39 PM
yeah washing sucks
:(
Jeff, the guys on TTORA told me that they hoped I die on Christmas when I rolled my truck. I guess I only hope that you die on Flag day.
Of course everyone would still want to wheel with you Jeff. Did you call it into your insurance? They'll cover it at no cost to you out of pocket. But then you'll have an at-fault collision on your record for the next three years. I would have told Brandon that he should have bought something with an exo cage, or just said "Trail Rated BITCH" and sped off.
Oh yeah, just try putting the sprinkler under/near your truck for a few hours, then you won't have to waste your time out there with the hose.
Conrad

That would have turned any lawn into a mound of mud. That's why I did it at a carwash. I didn't want all that shit behind my garage or in the street. It was A LOT. Huge chunks came off the diffs. I would guess the Jeep was 20 lbs lighter when I was done.
And no I am not going to fuck myself by turning it into my insurance. Sure they pay to fix it and then I end up paying 10x that amount over the next 3 years. 20% interest on a credit card would be cheaper. I will work it out with B somehow. Hopefully his Dad can help fix it up.

You will have to use the new terminolgy. Two new verbs were coined.
"We just have to avoid daving into small lakes and rivers so I don't dave my engine again."
:D
Ok, maybe three. "All the guppies and hippies in that river and downstream in Boulder have been daved in oil."
