ok so im driving my car (95 civic) and my ecu (p28) didnt kick in for the rev limiter so now my car wont go past 4K rpm's and it sounds horrible like only maybe 2 pistons are moving and i have no idea what the problem is so if anyone has any ideas that would be great...

Bent valves, I'm sure. Run a compression test and I bet it'll be pretty low on some, if not all, cylinders.

:werd: 200 rpm over redline isn't going to cause such severe problems. It must be something else.

Do the compression test and a leak down test. That will help determine the issue.

yup i had one do the same exact thing. it had no power and was back firing and all that shit.

stock motor? which one? replace the head if bent valves....pm me i got about all of them...that sux man.
