View Full Version : Toyota 22RE - how much NAWS can it handle?

Yeah I'm bored, took this single fogger wet kit I had laying around and hooked it up on my little yota, how much can a 22RE handle? 50-75-more? The truck actually runs really good so I don't want to blow it up......yet. Hopefully someone here can chime in as I've never fucked with 22RE's.

those are actually somewhat beefy motors, and should take a 100 shot with ease. if it blows up just pick up a 22RET motor.

*edit* the stock fuel pump might not be up for a 100+ shot.

yup, mainly the 4 runners AFAIK. the only bad thing about those motors is the tiny turbos. sposedly if you attach a stock turbo from a mid-late 80's supra (6 cyl) that combo is good for 300-350+ HP

I've got a spare Walbro 255 pump, I'd probably need to get a regulator to go with it though as it would most likely over run the stock regulator. I've been looking around on Ebay for turbo parts, I've already got the turbo and a VAFC for it, just need everything else to go with it.

Ok fuckers!!!! I'll post a pic of my POS Yota, you'll be impressed by the custom weight removal process going on with it. I think I'll go JDM style with the pics. Gimme a few minutes to wake up and finish whorin HAI.

I've got a T3/T4 that's got the internals of a 20g that's coming off my 99 GSX because I just got a PT63E for the GSX.
