-Rear body panel damage (repairable)
-Primer black front passenger side fender
-Slight hood imperfections on passenger side
-Front bumper has crack
-Rear bumper has scrapes where fender damage is located

Previous owner bonked a guard rail which caused above damage. Body shop wanted to cut out rear fender and weld in a new one (cost of rear fender around $900 alone), which caused repairs to exceed worth of vehicle. Sold to me with salvage title, I replaced front end damage and gained previous salvage Colorado title.

DAMN 8k for a car that easily has 2000 in body damage?

Kinematics

Initial D tax.

This would cost 2000 to fix if you're an idiot. The rear fender can easily be pulled out and smoothed over.

Price of car is negotiable.

If you want to play semantics all day.

Don't post in my thread unless you have something worthwhile to contribute, thanks.

So is the title salvage or is it koo?? And are you looking for just cash? trade?

Kinematics
10-19-2006, 07:27 AM
I may be interested in trades depending on what you have. No FWD though.

It is a 'rebuilt from salvage' title, which operates just like a regular title in Colorado. It just has that statement at the top letting you know it used to be salvage. It has been inspected by the DOT and found to be roadworthy, which allows it to operate just like any other vehicle on the road.

Don't get me wrong I like the 240 but rebuilt from salvage and as body damage and you are asking $8K way to much but good luck with the sale

Kinematics

Of course no one likes the price, that is why it is negotiable.

does it come with the quarters in the console as well as the shirt and map on the floor?

I am going to have to side with slava, 8k for a salvage and that bad a body damage, I would say 3k would be more reasonable.

I'd say $4K because they are kind of a rare car.

Except I've already had several offers for 6k that I am considering.

No one really gives a fuck what you think my car is worth, so please keep it to yourself and quit spamming my thread.

noone is spamming your thread, we are just giving IMO on what we think of your sale. Some of us are interested, but even 6k is high for the car.

Have fun finding a Kouki for under 6k that is in as good of condition as this one. lawl.

6k takes it home. I found a car I want and don't want to waste time getting a better price for this.

Have to ask, but you consider that good condition?

Kinematics
10-20-2006, 07:14 AM
Look at the car itself, you tell me.

forum
10-20-2006, 07:44 AM
I am, I see quite a bit of unrepaired body damage. The majority of which being the 1/4 panel, which repaired properly would require replacement. That would be considered frame damage after being replaced. Not to mention with how far that front fender was smashed in it looks like there is probably some apron damage, however most of the pictures are fairly low quality so its hard to tell.

Kinematics
10-20-2006, 07:55 AM
Then don't buy it and don't post in my thread. Pretty simple huh? Rear can be pulled out without replacing the anything, and the front fender was a direct replacement along with the headlight and corner signal, everything lines up 100% so your 'apron damage' remark is just BS.

Slava
10-20-2006, 07:57 AM
Dude if some one buys it for 6K good for you but if there is any frame damage that is F up on your part. All we are trying to tell you is that its not worth what you are asking for it.

Kinematics
10-20-2006, 07:58 AM
There is no frame damage, I have a professional estimate in my possession that states that very fact. If you don't like my price, then fuck off and enjoy the rest of your day, outside of my thread.

Dude chill, you are telling some of the most respected people on this board (in my eyes) to fuck off, and for what, cuz they are giving there opion on the value of your car. I was going to put an offer in for your car, but you sir seem like a dick, and I hate doing business with someone like that. Good luck on your sale....

:werd: If it's really that outrageously priced, one post will do. There doesn't need to be a whole damn discussion about it, from people who aren't going to buy it anyway.
