Ok people, so as most of you may know, i wrecked my car a little over a month ago and the bodyshop finally got going on it not too long ago. Well, insurance covered my VIS CF hood, and i ended up getting another one ordered DIRECTLY from VIS and the invoice said 99-00 but the hood was indeed a 96-98. VIS will not admit to their mistake and basically told me, i paid for it, its my loss.

The hood is at the bodyshop my car is at, and it is already re-packaged and ready to be shipped, the hood is in MINT (brand new) condition, it was NEVER even test fitted. I held it over my old hood when i got there, and sure enough it was the wrong one. So i re-packaged it and its ready to be picked up.

The only thing thats even remotly wrong with this hood is it has some rubberized tape on it from shipping. Which will come off with the first wash.

I paid $535 + $180 to ship the hood. A grand total of $715. Anybody local in colorado can come pick it up for $500. Out of state buyer pays shipping.

lmao yea... thats the thing, i needed the 99-00, they sent me the 96-98 with the invoice saying 99-00 and vis wont return it without an additional "handling fee" (which im trying to avoid). So $500 takes it.

what do you have to do, to install a carbon fiber hood? do you have to drill holes for hood pins or anything?
would you be interested in a trade of some SI's and cash?

its a direct bolt on to the factory hood hinges. No drilling or anything.

4 bolts out, remove stock hood
place cf hood on mounts, 4 bolts in
adjust/align
torque 4 bolts
and your done.

Unfortunatly i cant do wheels+cash as i have to pay the bodyshop that it was shipped to. PM Me if youre serious about the buy and how long it would take you to get the cash, i could probably hold onto it for you if youre serious.

Let me know.
