Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post in.....

Well, went and met Tai and a couple others from CorSport (http://www.corsportusa.com/) and got the shifter bushing kit with install.

Let me tell you, in the past never have I thought of buying one. From the delsol, s2000, sti, cobra, g35...... I have been severely disapointed in short shifters so never ventured into any bushing kit. However, after this..... any new car I get will have this installed immediately after the purchase.

The feel, well I don't see it possible to feel more solid. It's one of those things you just have to get and feel for yourself. Not a big investment but it makes driving around just that much better!!!!! Too bad I won't be back at a road course until next year, not that this will improve my times but it will feel much better.

Thanks Tai and friends (http://www.corsportusa.com/).....
BTW, customer service is definitely top notch! If you guys see this, lemme know on the price for the Tanabe sways and brace.

So are you more pleased with CorSport (http://www.corsportusa.com/) installing your shifter bushings (http://www.corsportusa.com/), your more pleased with your shifter bushings (http://www.corsportusa.com/) that you havent mentioned what brand you went with.....

Weird. I didn't feel any difference after I installed mine.

Really? Going from stockers to ES shifter bushings was like night and day in my DC....

Yeah. I didn't notice it... it was a little stiffer, but it didn't seem to be very noticeable when shifting hard.

Speed Source was the brand, I am not familiar with the name but seriously, it made a big difference on how solid it feels now. As far as shifting hard, It looks like it will be a while before I get to a roadcourse to test it out. I never even redline my car or bikes in the street.

The install was nice too, very professional but fun people to be around. When BS'ing, lot of funny things but while they were working, it was all business. Nice to get to a shop and they are waiting.....on time for your install. Instead of waiting until they can "get around to it". Reflects a lot on their total service to everyone.

The original post seemed like a lame attempt at advertising for that shop, especially with not 1 but 2 links to their homepage.
Glad your happy with your bushings and amazing, outstanding, wonderful customer service and install.

Well, sorry it came out that way to you, it was indeed to help them get their name out....it's the least I can do when I am satisfied with any shops service and product.

Isn't that how a review is done? Whether good or bad?

Yeah, it was just really obvious. You never mentioned the brand of bushings or the car they went onto. Then you go on to mention the shop multiple times and even in the title of the thread too. It just struck me as kind of odd and it was obvious the post was trying to hype a shop but had really nothing to do with the performance of a new part.
Nothing personal, it just rubbed me the wrong way, thats all.

I felt the same, hence me replying with a ton of links to the shop:D Product review usually exampilizes what product you bought, not that the shop is great at talking during an install......

No problem. With me, anytime I get a part, or install from any shop whether online or in person, I always try and do a review. This and negative reviews keep shops on their toes with customers. But yeah, I get what you mean though.

There will be quite a few reviews from me in the upcoming months, since the more "substantial" mods for HP/TQ and suspension, clutch, etc are about to happen. Just wish it didn't cost so much damn $$$.

I didn't know that Tai had his own shop now. That's pretty cool.

But, yeah... it's probably not the best idea to make posts that may be interpreted as spamming or attempting to get free advertising. Tai is a good guy and I'm not taking sides here, but that's just the way that things are.
