CD to iPod?

Is it possible to convert an "IFO" file type to a file type that can be played on an iPod? By the way, what types of video files can be played on a video iPod. mpeg didn't seem to work.

http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/ is what I always used to convert movies for my ipod, not the fastest converter in the world but I never had any problems with it.

I'm at work right now Simon, but I'll send you the name of the program later... it's a free trial for now, but I think it's only $40 so that seems fair. It's easy to use and the videos are high quality...

If you're going to spend money on something like that just get Nero. I use it for converting movies to iPod/PSP format and for ripping/burning dvd's along with DVD Shrink...

ok, the name of the program I used was PQ DVD to iPod Video Suite. You might want to google that, I can't remember the site... sorry :(

the product works great and the iPod is awesome.... I have a nano and my husband just bought the 30gb one... I've decided that I'm going to upgrade now :D
