my 95 integra is idling high at 2G when warm and 1500 at start up, and also my check engine light comes on every now and then for code 43.

here is my set up I have a gsr block with forged pistons 9:1, b16 head, p30 intake manifold, i am guessing a obd2 TB, not to sure on that one, I know its not a obd1 cause it doens have the fast idle thermo valve. and a usdm p30 ecu.

would the TB cause that problem, and also I think I am running rich. and I cant figure out why the check engine light comes on once in a while, I know it has something to do with the fuel system, but everything is pluged in and it is getting 40 psi when at idle. it has come on 3 times since friday, I reset the ecu and it fine and then 2 or 3 days later it comes on again. would maybe my FP be going out?

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak somewhere. CEL 43 is caused by several different scenarios. A vacuum leak being one of them. Did this problem just start one day or did something change on the setup that may have caused it?

Isn't cel 43 a fuel supply?

the code came on after I wired my knock sensor. it seems to come on when I am driving at low rpms but it only comes on once in awhile and not all the time

Yes, but it is a generic code to let the driver know that something is wrong with the feedback system. Basically the computer cannot add or subtract enough fuel to get to stocih. So it sets a code.

Ohh I see. Thanks Tobi.

well I cant figure it out, I tinkered with the car this morning, and have no clue. the idle screw is adjusted all the way in. would it work to get some type of fuel management like hondata, would that solve my problems.

is my p30 causing the problem since I am not running a b16? do i need to get the ecu remapped for a 1.8L?

Did it run ok withthe P30 before? Or did the ECU change at the same time this problem came up? It still sounds like a vacuum leak or something in those lines to me.

it ran ok, idle was high, i just got the motor built and installed it and then have put on around 850 miles so far. i had Chuck at Alternative motorsports look at it today, and he said my iacv is bad and that there might be a vacuum leak. so tomorrow I am going to clean out the iacv and check all my vacuum lines for a leak.

Good place to start.
