I don't think I can afford this weekend, and Doug is working both days anyway. How about the weekend after that?

If you go next weekend. I should be able to go with. My jeep will be ready by then.

You wanted a Wrangler to put a kid in? We sold the Wrangler so that we could fit a kid and a stroller. Those things have a half width back seat and the cargo room of a computer box.

my kid is big enough to walk.... i dont need stroller room... well maybe one of those umbrella strollers but you evidently havent seen the back seat in my civic... its like playing tetris to get the car seat in... and plus spilled sippy cup on waterproof back seat is > spilled sippy cup on black cloth...

dont get me wrong... I could get a mini van... which would be WAY better for getting a kid in and out... but... if i am going to go down to a single vehicle it has to fulfill kid transport, fun, reliable all in one vehicle..

and to get out of the SI without being in the hole... it had to be somewhat similar in value.

Yeah, I was gonna ask, considering your car wasn't old, weren't you upsidedown? I'm sure the car itself holds value well so that probably helped.

We traded the 00 Wrangler for a 98 (and higher miles) 4Runner Limited with Leather (was a plus on the limited cause of spills).

We have a dog and like to go camping. We had a hard time just getting the camping crap in the jeep without the back seat in without a roof rack or something. The 4Runner has been awesome. You can't take the top off but we plan on getting another Wrangler later.

yeah the only way to get the whole value out of the civic... i had to have a new vehicle or a similar cost vehicle...
