Spark plugs for my b16a3 with ctr camshafts

Will NGK BKR6E-11 be fine in my b16a3 w/ ctr camshafts. The book says they need to be platinum, but will the copper ones work just as well?

What does the extra S mean? Platinum? I waqsnt really looking to buy anything.... just asking.
