View Full Version : Let's just piss on the Bill of Rights...

Say goodbye to the 4th ammedment... Congress is now trying to allow students to be searched for little to no reason, even including strip-searches. Apparently we didn't have enough of a problem with teachers molesting children.
http://technocrat.net/d/2006/9/21/8096
I know that their little bullshit Act wont override the 4th ammedment, but it will make it acceptable to completely disregard it inside of schools. Why do we even have the Bill of Rights anymore, or the Constitution for that matter? It's not like our politicians honor them or obey them, so what's the point of trying to bullshit people by acting like we are "a nation of laws"? Everyone knows that they just do whatever they want and make up, or "reinterpret", the rules as they go along.

So what you're saying is Hung is going to make a post "How do I become a security gaurd at a school?" Strip searching young hot chicks seems like a damn good job.
:thumbdown Just one more thing making me want to move to Canada, or Portugal, or something.

From the sounds of it, you wouldn't even have to be an authority figure... could be a damn custodian.

I was joking weston. This is bullshit. If my daughter came home from school saying she was stripped searched you better believe I'd be at that school beating some ass.

That's when it's in the context of "by the sword".

Weston, students dont have full rights to alot of the Bill of Rights (i.e. free speech).
Look up Tinker V. Des Moines. It's one of those things you learn in college ;)

I think either A) Bush should enact a bill making him president for life, or B) Robin Williams should be elected president.

Actually, I learned it pretty early on in high school. I guess standards have gone down quite a bit since then to make things easier for the mentally deficient, so now you have to go to college to learn things that you should have been taught in high school. This bill goes against a previous supreme court decision.

I guarantee you that the first time a strip search happens in a school, an angry parent or citizen is going to come in there and start killing faculty members.
