Yeah, they say it's an MP5... I assume he's talking about that rather than the Glock. Getting an MP5 in that configuration is technically possible, but it's a NFA item because it's a machine gun as well as a short barrelled rifle. You actually have to give up your 4th ammendment rights (search & seizure) to own NFA firearms. However, you may be able to get a non-NFA version... I haven't looked into this for MP5's specifically, but a semi-auto version that's originally registered as a pistol (ie can't have a rifle stock, etc) is generally legal. Being that it's a 9mm gun, there shouldn't be much opposition to it being built as a pistol. Heck, many people legally make pretty mean AR-pistols this way... they just originally register the lower reciever as a pistol (one that's registered as a rifle cannot be converted), and never put anything on it that makes it a rifle (such as a rifle stock), then the short barrel is legal.

np. According to the wiki, the HK 94 and SP89 are the semi-auto versions. Not sure on the prices, but I hear they are a bit high.
