Hi I am new here and my friend with a s/c civic and I want to know where we can go cruising and meet some people to race and have fun with. Here in Longmont, there are some nice cars but mostly just teens. We are tired of it and want to go somewhere with nice cars and people who know what they have. Not some 16 year old kid whos daddy bought him a WRX.

Well sweetie, Ft. Collins is not the place for you to go if your and your buds are trying to avoid the teens... Our scene here is ;gay; and all the people who parking lot bench race can ;kiss: hehehe Ft. Fun is good for drinking and drunk college chicks. You want action, I suggest you head South ;)

Then where? Longmont is just full of high school kids now so we hate being there.

Westminster used to be good, but it's shut down now and it was getting pretty dumb near the end anyways. Longmont and Ft Collins are the only places that I know of people cruising now, but both seem pretty lame.

There's usually other stuff going on around the Denver area, but the time/location changes about everytime, so it's not the kind of thing that anyone can just show up to.

We used to meet up at 7-11 in Westminster, but that came to an end. We were told by the employees there that it was cool with the owner, but that didn't stop the cops from going over the line and harassing people. I think it's just intimidation with empty threats, but that's enough to keep most people away. The Chineese Mann Theature in Aurora is a huge meeting place and hang out, but it looks like that's going to end very soon and very badly, so I would stay away from there if I were you. Now there's no usual place to meet up that I know of.

Well that sucks. Longmont CAN be a good spot but its usually not. The cops are always trying to block off the turn arounds and there are so many HS kids in their 89' taurus's so it is more annoying than fun. Well this sucks. I went cruising on College a while back and there was one cruising followed by 3 mini-vans with soccor mom drivers at 9 PM. Grrr

If you really want to see the Fort Collins scene, I will meet up with you guys and show you. I don't mind and I love meeting new people. Let me know- We can get our own clan together!

I might just do that. But if there is no real scene up there, you might as well just come down here to good ol' ghetto longmont.

I have a white 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R. Bone stock for now, but all the basic intake and exhaust parts are back ordered from almost every place with a decent price. I went to Auto Accessories and Designs today off of horsetooth and they were asking 320 for a stinkin Cold air intake. I can get it from Nopi for 230! My friend has a 92' Galant Vr-4 with a rebuilt 4g63 with forged pistons and the usual setup running 17 lbs of boost. My other friend with the s/c looks stock so you won't be able to recognize it.
