My buddy Jesse just pick these up for his 5th gen coupe. I was a little hesitant when I ordered them for him. I didnt think they were going to be anything slightly good. Well we got the seats today and I must say for the price these seats are made really well. They are made by NRG which isnt that bad of a company really.

The fabric was real OEM and the red stiching matches the really well with the true JDM red stiching they seem to be a good set of seats for $280 shipped and we got them in less than a week. I would reccomend this seller and his knockoff seats if you want a cheap replacement set. Cause my buddy nor I could afford the $900 true black Type-R Reccaro seats.

Let us know how the install goes, if you wouldn't mind? Also, let us know how the are comfort wise. Short drives/long drives/etc. :)

His car is currently at a paint shop right now. So the install is down the road a bit. I will take some better pics and do a write up when we do the install and drive them a bit.

Have you sat in them?? A buddy of mine was in the same situation, was doing a motor build and couldnt afford real ITR seats and bought some off of Egay, and the seats were so fuckin hard you couldnt sit in them longer then 10 minutes before your ass hurt

For the price they seem good, They felt ok when we sat in them. For $280 I was supprised better than APC for more right lol. I tried to tell him to just buy some Sol seats but he wanted these and for the $$ seems good.

How much are the vehicle specific brackets? I see they only come with universal sliders.

i was thinking of getting somthing like those, but was wondering do they crash test that stuff? is there crash ratings for cheap ass racing seats or any seats? i don't want to be riding around the eqivalant of a folding lawn chair.

I really don't think they are worth buying when you can get some aftermarket ones...
