Basicly like the title says. I would like to go shooting some time. The last time I shot something was about 6 of 7 years ago in Boyscouts. I have shot 22 rifles and it was a shotgun for clay peigons but I do not remeber what size. I would like to try a hand gun, something with a clip not a revolver. If anyone wants to some time hit me up.

Why not a revolver? You want to look like a gang banger or something?

Oh wait, I am a badass, n/m.
I'm sure if you put your bike up as a target for the HAI gun club that somebody would take you shooting.

Make sure you let us know when and where you go shooting. So then we can all plan on being as far away from there as physically possible.
Thanks.

Actually, I have a hi-point 9mm that I use for Halibut fishing and it is actually more accurate and more comfortable then my Berreta or my Glock. I know it's a cheap gun but I'd rather take it with me over the last two I mentioned, they just sit in the gun safe.

i've owned it... its ugly... its heavy... it jams... but its also cheap... i would not carry it or trust my life with it, but if you want something cheap to shoot, you can't go wrong

LMAO!
In all seriousness though. If you want a good, cheap shooter. One that is battle proven, reliable, fun and inexpensive to shoot... the SKS is hard to beat. I'm not real familiar with all the different origins, but my Romamnian one and my Chinese one are both very nice rifles. I think they are great for beginners, and can be had for around $100, maybe closer to $200 for a really sweet one.
And if you have a little more to spend, I've picked up a few AKs for around $300-350. On those I would only go with Chinese. I've had bad luck with the cheap Romanians... and the other good ones (Russian, US made) are too expensive for an AK.

YES! I bought a Yugo SKS with the bayonet and grenade launcher, brand spankin new, never fired once! Yes, there was a shitloade of these, an accident caused these guns to be stored away brand new, never fired. After 6 hours of cleaning all the packing grease off, I put its first 1000 rounds through it during camping with out cleaning it in between, not one jam and the bolt held open after the mag was empty every time. Ammo is cheap, a great buy for under $200!
I'm wanting one of those AK's though. Another great firearm is a H&K G3A3 knockoff by Century arms, the CETME. Looks like a million bucks, 20-30 round box mags of 7.62X51, or .308. Pretty damn accurate, I got mine for $ 395. Has one of those cool MP5 style slapbolts too.

But they are heavy! So when it jams (you KNOW it will) you can beat your attacker with it!

In a 5" thick steel walled container? You still won't be safe.

I've put a couple thousand rounds through my hi-point 9mm, never cleaned it and it has never jammed. I know it's a cheap gun but it's what I take with me when I go fishing, outdoors, etc. cause if I lose it - drop it in the mud/water - whatever else, I'm not too worried about it. The other reason I prefer it over my other brands is because it's small and fits in my pocket. As for it being ugl, it ain't no unglier then my glock, lol.

Thats cool man. I actually was going to buy one, but for handguns I like teh single actions. Not that I would love a nice H&K USP, but I do love cowboy action shooting. I'm the man with no name bitches! Or just like obsolete technology.

The only gun Tonnerre should be using is an Air soft.
