If any of you remember, I had this J&S UltraSafeguard for sale not that long ago. Well it's not for sale anymore :) I decided to spend a little time and install it today, and I can tell you that it's worth it's weight in gold. Butt dyno says it's faster when retarding cylinders individual, but I won't know for sure until I take it to the track someday. Anyways, I did a couple pulls uphill in 5th gear at just under 35 MPH WOT (about 2 PSI of boost, 1500 RPM there), WITH the air conditioning on, and not a smidgen of detonation. Not bad for summer time 94* temps :p

Well my engine should now be fairly safe from that 14 PSI pulley I've yet to install ;RoCkOn;

you arent seriously going to spin the M45 fast enough to make 14 psi are you?

It's a 3.2" pulley, where as the stock 6 PSI is 4.0." That should equate to somewhere in the double digits, yes!

All I am saying man is becareful with that. You are reducing your blower and engine life to almost none if you are going to spin it that fast. Even pushing the m45 to 10 psi is dangerous as the outlet temps are incredibly high. I know I have said it before, but you need some type of intercooling with that. Just giving you some friendly advice from someone who has done a lot of research with teh superchargers. But have fun at any rate man. Let us know when it is installed.

Your going to lose power with that pulley. I've seen it happen a bunch of times. 14 psi is beyond the max rpm for an M45. Plus the nitrous while cooling the outlet charge will raise your cylinder temps a lot negating any intercooling effects it had. Get some stainless steel valves at the least. Be careful, that blower wont last more than a couple weeks at that speed.
