I know you guys bring up forums every once in a while but I always forget them.

Can you guys post up some good 4 wheeling forums for me? The only one I really know of is traildamage.

Also, what are some good site for parts please?

Oh yeah, the other thing is that my computer has been down for over a month now, so I can't really bookmark anything because I'd rather not on other people's computers. TIA.

Oh yeah, if anyone has any idea where I can get an alternate mounting place for my spare, I'd be very greatful. I've got a 2002 Tacoma extended cab and the full size 33" spare pushes on my e-brake cable and makes the light come on sometimes while I'm going down a steep, bumpy hill.

Anyone have any ideas?

EDIT: I've found this so far, but it's $800+.

Brandon when I get some money later, will I be able to approach you to build me some rock sliders and do a body lift? I would pay you of course.

I'd also like to discuss some mounting options for a high lift jack.

AND if anyone thinks they can make me a spare tire mounting rack like the in that link for half the price I'd love to do business with you.

I can build anything like that, sliders, tire rack, bumpers etc. I just don't have the bender to be able to do round tubing so it all has to be square/rectangle and flat plate/sheet. Shoot me a picture and I'll get you a price.

there aren't too many hi-lift options. I have mine mounted in the front of the bed on the floor. I wanted to put it on the side but didn't think the sides could handle the weight. Cooper has his on the side and it's been just fine so I might move mine some day.

I can do a 2" BL for $230 installed and a 3" for $270 installed. That includes relocating the front bumper, rear bumper, dropping the radiator to line up with the fan, raising the shifters, steering wheel shaft extension, bed spacers, grade 8 hardware on the cab mounts, 2.5" UHMW blocks (better than hockey pucks), fuel filler and fuel breather extension. If you want to go with a 3" BL, I'll have to fab up some rear bumper brackets and that would be extra. I don't know how involved that is yet since I haven't done mine.

If you want to read up on BLs a lot of the toyota guys go to www.4crawler.com (AKA roger brown)

I was just thinking that I'd like your rock sliders, but it seems smart to lift the body up a little so I didn't lose any clearance. There is a picture of the tire mount in that link in one of my first posts. Maybe you could work a high lift mount into that. Do you see how it is attatched with link pins so you can just switch it to face which ever angle you need it to? I think that's a great idea.

As for the body lift, I bet a 2" would be fine. I'm getting some rubbing on my tires and I bet 2" would be just fine.
