Well despite all of you perdictions, the motorcycle was the best thing I have done for transit in a long time. The civic I had, I did not treat it well and I died on me. The integra was another bad idea. It was fun but needed work and then I wrecked. I had a lot of mountain bikes and they all got stolen. Rollerblades, I have cuts and I bad weather stops me from using them. The motorcycle has a lot of plus that keep me happy. It has speed and I can have fun in turns. Free parking and good on gas. I get more people to ride with me on the bike then I ever got in my cars, lol. I enjoy riding more too.

Tonnerre: you having people ride with you on the bike is extremly fucking stupid, and extremely irresponsible. Granted the people must be pretty damn dumb to ride with you in the first place, but still - do you take satisfaction in having somebody else ride with you that you may potentially kill? Your not invincible, nor are you a great rider, your a over-confident and under-experienced biker which is a very bad combination.

When you have ridden for 10 years or so, you could probably consider yourself proficient. I have owned a bike for 2 years, and ridden on and off over the last 6. Its not how you handle the bike every day, its the ocassional panic situation you face and how you handle it that makes you a good rider.
