Just got home from having lower back surgery yesterday. Here's a shot of the staples they sent me home with:

ouch! why did you need back surgery? i have a friend who is having a lot of back problems and the last resort will be surgery...

Ruptured disc. I've had a lot of pain the last few years. Tell your buddy to get an MRI done. Mine was very revealing... and the surgery was pretty smooth.

Damn that thing is mean looking, I am thankfull we have the technology and know how to fix problems such as these.
