I'm thinking of getting Progressive insurance and want to know if this is a decent deal or not.


Bodily Injury and Property Damage: $500,000 Combine Single Limit
Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist: $500,000 Combine Single Limit
Medical Payments: $25,000 each person

$128/month or $680 paid in full 6 month policy

Opted not to go for any collision or comprehensive as per the value of my vehicle. 91 CRX HF (47hp monster) 22 years old, only upper 500's credit, speeding ticket in the last 3 years, last week, 77 in a 55 zone.

Good deal or can somebody out there get me better?

As long as you realize that your uninsured coverage is only for BI (Bodily Injury).

Why the combined single limit? Just curious because very few people seem to opt for that. It's awesome coverage though.

So if I hit an Escalade, it won't cover the damage to it?

*shrug* I just wanted to go for the best coverage I could, aside from anything that covers my car itself. Not really worth covering a ~$1,000 vehicle.

no, that's good. Most people I sold to tried to go with the state minimums which basically protects you against nothing.
