I've got a buddy looking for a 337. Does anyone out there know where there might be one??

I've already called Mountain States, McDonald, and Skyline...

Good luck finding one. Check with dealers about how many they are getting and how many people are on a waiting list too. Check with Osborne VW on Colfax...

that guy isnt even selling his car, hes selling the legal contract with his dealership. since all are already sold the person is trying to get $3500 for his spot in line. when the car comes in whoever buys his spot will have to pay for the car. It will end up costing him $26,000 to buy the car.:( :smashfrea

Wow....with all this trouble, it's looking like he'll have to forget about a 337.

Nobody I've called has one for sale...I've got a broker checking the western U.S. now. Even if he does find one, it won't be at a decent price!!

Tell your buddy to get a normal one, then buy the skirts and valances. You can buy all of the cosmetic stuff for a 337 easy

Ya, 18" BBC RC wheels are the shiznet.

I had the choice of getting a 337 or my GTI, but I wanted heated seats and a sunroof too much.

Plus, I wouldn't want to mod the hell out of something so rare.

Welcome to hai...what mods do you have done to your dub?

Well my Techtonics Turbo-back is sitting on my floor and will be going on Saturday morning. I can't wait either.

It's like the thing is taunting me.

:Peace:

Other than that, nothing. I do have plans though :D

What chip are you going to run?

Eventually, after a cupkit+sways and a couple cosmetic mods, I'll be going with an APR. Stock, 91 and 93 octane programs.

Once the warranty is up, i'm going to go APR Stage III tranverse. But thats 4 years away :)

Oh, and thanks for the welcome :)

It's black....and it's the LAST black car I'll probably ever own.

Unless of course an M3 winds up in my garage some day.

My black jetta is impossible to keep clean. Don't get an m3...After about 1500 bucks into your car you will smoke m3's:)

yeah but it's gonna take more $ than that to smoke an M roadster :p

ahem, those run 12s up here STOCK!

BoraTurbo

You must be kiding..right? Those cars run 13.1 at sea level. That equals a 14.15 up here at bandimere. Once i get drag radials I bet I can nail a 14.1-2.

hi2u
06-20-2002, 02:19 PM
Which M3 are you talking about? The older ones (250hp) or the newer ones with 333hp?

ANd yeah, I could see after about $2000 maybe being able to drag with one, but it'd probably be hard as hell to keep up with one on a race track.

BoraTurbo
06-20-2002, 03:27 PM
The new m3's. The older ones run low 15's-high14's at this altitude. And yes, they would smoke us on a race track.

exciv2000

I'm not talking about m3s, I said M Roadster! It's an m3 engine in a z3 body :p

hi2u
06-20-2002, 04:18 PM
Yeah no limit I know those VERY well, I was talking to Bora.

Have any of you ever been in any of the newer "M" cars? I'd LOVE to get some of those seats in my GTI.

Talk about huggy.

BoraTurbo

I AM talking about the m roadster. m3=13.4 m roadster=13.1 at sea level.

I have driven the 2002 m3. Very nice car and nice seats:)
