So now on top of not being able to drive, they can't be responsible with guns. Damn women!

Kind of hard to blame somebody else for suicide, but somehow HAI pulls it off

Why is it hard? She's made attempts in the past, he knew she was unstable and he leaves her with a loaded weapon?

If thats directed at my message I was simply stating the boyfriend placed a gun in the hands of a woman he knew was mentally unstable and left her alone. That places some blame on him imnsho.
Mark
I think my ex is mentally unstable, but she's never attempted suicide. She's a totally different kind of mentally unstable. I'm sure that's what he meant though.

There were a bunch of people in the thread that blamed the boyfriend, and that's just wrong. If the women killed herself on a snap decision like this, she obviously had some SERIOUS mental problems that needed some attention. It's easy to blame him after the fact but you would be the biggest asshole in the world if you pulled a gun away from your girlfriend because you couldn't trust her to not kill herself.

yes... that is the reason they stopped renting guns several years ago... someone went in... rented a handgun, and blew their head off.... :killtard:

they still rent handguns. last time i was there, you just have to use range ammo, and not your own ammo. oh and leave a CO id behind the glass where the gun's spot was.

this occurred like 5 years ago...maybe even longer... that's just what I've heard... I know that when I turned 21 in 1999 they didn't have handguns to rent
