HA! AWD bunrouts once again!

Well a few months ago, I had a small engine problem... oil pump went out and bu bye engine. So the past couple months, I've been working on a new engine for my '89 RX. This engine is running a carbed bottomr end that has been rebuilt (9:1 cr), rebuilt heads, port and polish, Delta 260 cams, plus all of my other goodies like my TD04, AEM cold air intake, Megan Racing 3" bellmouth downpipe, WRX top mount intercooler, Samco hoses, Turbo XS BOV, blah blah blah. I also decided to take the time and put my new injectors in (280cc vs. 185cc) along with my AFPR. Running 42psi on fuel with these injectors and there's still some tuning I have to do but for the most part, she's runnin strong again. I'm going to baby it until I get all the bugs worked out, mainly mechanical, but she runs and drives again. Needless to say, the old engine was all stock, 7.7:1 cr, stock cams, stock bottom end, and it did some awesome burnouts. Can't wait to see what this engine does but I can already tell that its a bit faster then it was;NutKick;

yes they came 4 door sedans but mine is a 2 door coupe. Its an '89 Subaru RX. Basically its the predesessor to the WRX...

I was out on the golf course earlier and I thought of this thread and I was like "damnit", his car is a 2 door. It fucked me up enough that I shot a double bogey on a par 3 hole, DAMNIT!!!!!

Wow, now that has to be classic! Wish I coulda been there to see your reaction, hah.

And not only is my RX a coupe, its also a very rare black and gold coupe. They were only made in the last half of '89... so technically is a '89.5. Woo woo!

His Rx may be faster, but mine is ricer... I mean nicer.... looking at least... well, lets just say that his is more of a sleeper then mine:)

well Phil, yours now faster then mine, just blew another engine. I think the ring lans gave out. Hard to start, blows oil out of the valve covers, and smokes a bit....
