12.5, 12.9 @ 13.5 @ 121 - 123. Good for way low 11s with any semblence of traction. They made everyone not wearing slicks launch on the side of the track, where there was dirt/crud/etc and absolutely NO traction. None. Not even in a nice dream.

What POS. I guess I just had to go down for my once per year torture...

I went once.........hated it and have not gone back. You can't even stage at that POS track. You roll if you let off the break so you can never cut a good light. Then as john pointed out you can't run in the groove. I ran about a half second slower at that place than bandi...

Thats how it should be. DOT slicks and Slicks in the groove only. IMHO. The hillbillies with the 35" nobbys and BFG "performance T/A's" Ruin the track for fast cars.

If the track is prepped properly, those of us with dragrace-specific tires will not ruin the groove. It's the all season radials doing burnouts thru the pad which tears it up.

Bandimere is the benchmark to which everyone else needs to compare with.

IMHO.

Another thing I heard at PMI was that anyone can launch in the groove 'on sundays'. Makes no sense whatsoever at all.

I wont complain about the fact that they dont let street tires in the groves...it only hurts the track. They only charge $10 to run on friday nights as compared to Bandi which is like $25 or something. Maybe if they charged more they could afford to re-tar it everyday, but right now it seems they are just trying to make an affordable place to race other than the streets.

But they shouldnt stop DOT drag radials from running in the groves. About 3 weeks ago i was there with a friend and they let this camaro SS run in the groves with Nitto's. I think those guys have a predjudice against the imports. I wonder if i can get away with it since i have a plymouth?

i would rather try to drag up pikes peak highway than give PMI a nickel. i wonder if the owners just don't know shit about motorsports.

either way, i'd rather spend the $10 on gas and $30 to run at bandi.

-springs guys, can anyone confirm this rumor that farm crest on austin bluffs & academy has 95/96 octane at the pumps?

Nope all I know of them having is 93 leaded.......you can get 93 unleaded at the farm crest on centennial though.

bandimere used to be the same way. only for a short time now have they allowed street tires in the groove. it used to only be allowed during "street legal" only events such as club clash. but on test and tune they would make you launch outside of the groove with street RADIALS. bias-ply DOT tires were allowed in the groove.

Glad I haven't been to PMI yet, don't think I will unless I really get an ich to run when theres nothing at bandimere...

This indicates to me that Bandimere is catering to everyone. That makes me all warm & fuzzy, whereas PMI makes me all cold & prickly...
