Hi! I was a WRX owner for the past 3 years and actually planned to move up to the STi. But after test driving both the STi and the Evo MR my choice was pretty obvious. I love my new MR and look forward to meeting up/seeing you guys at local events soon!

Thanks! Well, among many other deciding factors, I thought the drive was much smoother and more responsive with the Evo than the STi. I still like the STi, but I'd much rather own the Evo. ;)

Welcome to teh HAI! CONRAD: Check PM!
From what I've heard... the Evo does have the better steering response, but the smoother ride & power-band feel goes to the STi.
One of the reasons I was disappointed (down the road) with the LGT. Great power (especially after restriction removed & retune w/ exhaust), but the suspension was made for somebody who'd be "Driving Ms. Daisy!"
Anyhow... pics are welcome as well!

I've heard the same thing about the Evo's suspension in the past and I felt the same way you do about it. And believe me it was pretty much the only thing keeping me on the STi boat. That is until I drove this MR with the new 4-wheel independent suspension with Bilstein front and rear dampers (which only the MR has). Even in my limited experience I still feel like, driving in this car, I'm gliding on air hehe.

Evo > Sti
Do a couple of mods and lay the smack down on the Subies.
Welcome to HAI.

agreed
You can make a Honda sound like a Subaru if you run on 3 cylinders. I did it with a CRX and it sounded awesome, one of my favorite mods. No more ricey sounding exhaust.
