I'm looking to buy a good setup for dropping my 97 Civic, just a little bit, I dont want it slammed, but I want it riding a little lower. I'm not really sure whether coil-overs or springs ride and handle better, but for some reason I just assume Springs. I for sure dont want any arospeed or shit like that, Im looking for quality. Now Im not totally sure what I would need for a nice stable ride, like I doubt Ill need better control-arms and shit like that for such a small drop, and Im not really sure what a camber kit does, if you still need allignments? Anyways let me know if you guys have any ideas.
PS: I'm not looking to spend a fortune, so used is probably my best bet, but let me know. Oh and I dont want to look like a jack ass in a car doing this...:bounce:

H&R OE Springs are supposed to drop the car approx. 3/4". I have heard good things about them, give good ride quality etc.
There are also Eiback Pro Kit springs, drop the car about an inch, good ride quality etc. as well.

springs would give you better handling most likely if you don't want it to be too low, i would recommend against cheap coilovers though definately

I highly recommend Eibach Pro-Kits.

I would go with H&R springs...... dont buy off brand springs they can give you an unlevel drop

Now the question is who's got some for cheap, whether it be the eibach or H&R.

Dude, Eibach is no "off brand spring". They are probably one of the premier spring makers in the world, even getting contracts from such companies as Lotus for their Elise! Accept no alternative.
