This is a really nice little setup. Consists of a Phillips monitor(can support up to 4 camera's), Phillips camera(w/ mounting bracket), Hitachi VHS recorder, and the cable shown in the picture. The camera just plugs right in, it's that simple. The Camera also has a microphone so you can receive audio, you can add a speaker and talk from the TV out to the camera location too.
$200 firm, if I don't get my price I'll just keep it.
Thanks, please post or PM if you want it.
Mark
These must be picked up in Loveland, I'm available almost anytime for pickup.

There is no night vision, but you can actually see pretty cleary with minimal light. The camera is not weather resistant either. I would guess a little enclosure could be built for it rather easily though.
Thanks.

Anyone with a shop needs this or anyone with a garage! I have one and they are a good way to help you sleep at night when there's 40k in parts in the garage! $200 is a deal, free bump 1 hour after the last!

Thanks. Yeah I thought somebody here would jump on this right away. Maybe set it up in a garage or outside your house if you have no garage.

Basically with the VHS setup it can just record as long as the largest VHS tapes available right now(not sure what the biggest ones are??). The VHS recorder that's included is a pretty basic Hitachi unit. I'm sure there are many ways to hook up computers etc. to record everything. I just had the system hooked up today and the video quality is actually really good.

MarkI believe there is a 9 hour VHS tape. I had a system similar to that at my shop, but it's probably a bigger monitor and can record from 4 cameras at the same time. Anyways running the tape on 9 hours, and have 4 cameras, the quality was smooth, but grainy.

Hope that helps

hmmm... i was looking to use this for my garage, but im not gonna be putting in a tape every night... i would need something that just automatically starts to record over old stuff.

so for now im going to pass, sorry.you can probably do that with the vcr. i believe you can loop it, where if you don't take it out by a certain time, it'll just rewind to the beginning and record over the old stuff.

So with all the concern over cars getting stolen, I'm suprised nobody grabbed this stuff from me. fwiw I hooked it all up the other day and the picture is actually really nice.
Anyway, $90 if anybody wants it. I'm just raising $$ to help out a friend in need.
Thanks.
Mark
I'll meet you halfway if your from Denver or Boulder.

Markno luck on craigslist?

you might have better luck just walking up to a liquor store (especially if it's asian/middle eastern owned) and trying to sell it to them for 100 bucks. They would most likely buy it, and it'll save you more grief then trying to sell it on HAI.
