I saw this for sale on another forum... pretty decent deal for only $4K.

I picked this Jeep up last year and it has sat in my garage up until recently.

It's a 91 Laredo, I am the second owner (original owner is my neighbor). The Jeep has approx. 237K on the body, but only has 60k on the engine and the tranny (PO had them rebuilt).

Engine has new Ford Mustang injectors, new CPS, new plugs and wires. New front pads and rotors. Pretty much all the important stuff has recently been replaced to ensure that the XJ runs top notch. Has all skids (transfer case skid will be included as it's sitting on the garage floor at the moment).

Jeep has never been offroad and runs great.

Looking for $4000 OBO

A quick run down of what it has:

1991 XJ Laredo
4.0
Automatic
NP231
White with grey interior
Power windows/locks/seats
Overhead console
Cup holders

4.5" Hybrid lift
Rough Country/RE/Procomp mish-mash
Rough Country Springs and AAL
RE Adjustable LCAs
RE Trackbar
ProComp Shocks
ZJ Tie Rod upgrade
RE Gen 2 Discos

D30 with PosiLock installed to remove vacuum
D44
3.55 gears open on both ends

32x11.50 BFG ATs (5)
15x8 Rock Crawler wheels

What it needs:
Alignment
If going higher, SYE and Driveshaft

If I get my asking price of $4000 for it I will throw in brand new 6.5" leafs and coils from Rusty's Offroad.

Have title in hand and keys ready for it's new owner.

PMs and e-mail (tiffster23@gmail.com) are good first contacts.

Heh, not for 4k. I've put more than that into it in the last 3 months...

Still though, $4k for this thing is a really, really, good price for a good starter that really wouldn't need much to do some fun wheelin. Besides, getting a Rusty's 6.5" leafs and springs is worth probably $600ish by itself...

Of course lifting it that much would mean almost another $1k for the SYE (transfer case rear output shaft slip yoke eliminator) and CV driveshaft.

She already sold it... after one day. It was a steal at that price.

Well I gathered that Captain Halfthestory.

What happened to it? Did you sell it? Break it? Lose it in a huge puddle? Have it accidentally disolved in a vat of Coca-Cola?

I changed the spark plugs and it now has a knock to it. I'm going to check to see if it might just be a broken valve spring or something. If it's not that, It will need a new motor. Either way, I'm selling it. Just don't know how much depending on the motor situation.

Lame. Did you try putting the old plugs back in? Did you double check the new plugs gap? Also, what fuel are you using? Mine doesn't like 85.

Just some ideas...

I checked the plugs. Those are all good. Im using the cheap gas but Ive been using it for a year now and no problems. It started having a miss so I checked the plug wires and they were all corroded so I put new plugs/wires in, started it up and thats when the knock came out of no where. Its really weird...

Try using 87. If your old plugs gap was really wide (when I replaced mine they were almost double what they were supposed to be) it could have changed it enough to make it sensitive to the fuel again. Just a guess. Check the gap on your old plugs if you can and try putting some 87 in her to see if it quits.

Hahahaah, too many miles. It's just getting broken in. :D

If someone posts a TJ I'll let you know, but that site is for XJs so probably not likely. I'll keep my eyes open.

i will more than likely get one off of ebay... Buying one in colorado is almost ludicris.. They cost more here than anywhere else in the country.
