Ok Well I got a Greddy Turbo Timer on my Del Slow and as of recent I've been having problems with it. Half the time it will turn on then the other half it will not. Of those times it turns on, about 25% of the time it will not do it's job correctly. (leave the car running and then shut it off). It seems like a loose power connection to me but I'm not very "electrical" unless it's with a stereo system. I'm getting really pissed at this thing because it was FINE before I did my exhaust manifold gasket. Does anyone know about these things or is local that can take a peep at it for me? I'm tired of dealing with this thing LOL

I think it might be the ground it's not properly grounded douh! that sounds dumb but thats what happened to mine check it out and see if it works. if all else fails sit there and let it cool down everytime J/K who installed it?

Actually check to make sure that the E-brake wire is connected good. If its a finiky connection it could try to shut it off early or not work at all.

but if the brake light is on then the timer would just stay on and not turn on and off due to the wire right?

if its a bad connection then the turbo timer wont get the ground signal and cause it to act funny.
Did you install the TT yourself? Mine car had a greddy TT in it when I bought it, but the owner said "it doesn't work". There was a loose ground wire, and after going thru all the wiring (just call me anal) it works perfectly.
Does the emergency brake being either up or down have any effect on whether the TT works or not? Is the car an automatic or stick? It used to work 100% and now it's not? When did it stop working properly?

The TT was installed previous to when I bought the car. It has worked perfectly since that time up until last weekend when I did the exhaust manifold gasket. It stared acting funny 2 days after that. I have a manual transmission and if the e-brake is not up, it will not work. It sings annoying tunes at me when it works properly and then other annoying tunes when the e-brake is not set. Sometimes it will work sometimes it will not. Perhaps it is the ground wire~ I think I'm going to have to go through all the wiring. eck. But FIRST I will check the ground wire ;) Thanks guys
