Does anyone know if I can run MegaSquirt with a volvo 850T5? I know a lot of people use it with old 240/740/940 series, but I haven't seen a single one on an 850.

yes you can. you can use it with ANY internal combustion engine.

yea i got a buddy that talks about it all the time. i guess its popular in the VW community as well.

Ive seen one 5cyl turbo fwd volvo running a megasquirt on one website. guy was making like 500whp on pump gas with it; i remember it was crazy.
Megasquirt is great; i love it.

My buddy is running it in his '77 Saab 99 with a transplanted 900 turbo motor.

megasquirt is a DIY EFI engine managment system that is capable of running any internal combustion motor. including a weed whacker.

i know there is a bunch of mustang guys running in the 10's with it, and a few in the 9's. past that though they usually reccomend something like FAST, AEM, big stuff 3, etc

i have a few projects in mind i would like to test it out on.

I've heard of riding lawn mowers running off of megasquirt purely as a demonstration.

Do some research, they make complete kits for a variety of vehicles if you aren't up to soldering.
