I need to get some Ar so I can weld some stuff up.. Anyone know of the cheapest place in town to get Argon cylinders at? Preferably around west denver/golden

I had a 250cube cylinder in texas for my TIG and only paid $10/mo for rent and $40 to fill it. Are prices around here about the same?

They are expensive go with some of the smaller welding shops and you will find there prices cheaper. Look in the local phone book or on the computer.

Ya G.A. is ecpensive, look for AirGas. We have used them for years and they will work with you on a good price.

i dont know, tool zone said it was an 80 lb cylinder, but its the one thats about waist height. according to tool zone they only rent the bigger units, and they only do that for buisiness'

when you say cube you mean cubic feet right? if so thats probably what they meant when they told me 80 lb cause if i remember right it doesnt feel like it weighs 80 lbs... maybe half that.

yea that's probably 80 cubic feet. $30 to fill that is outrageeous. I could get my 250 cube filled for $38 (with tax) and they'd overfill it to about 300 when I did.
