Thought I would drop in on this forum since I just found it. Name is Terry, got a 1995 Taurus SHO. Bought it in 2000 and have been modifing ever since. It's not an Import persay, but the motor is made by Yamaha, which is the only reason I own a Ford Taurus.

Done just about everything you can do to an SHO. Yeah, I know it's a Taurus, so why bother. I've had a lot of fun doing the work and it's got that sleeper look.

What have you done to it? That torque seems a little low for a v8..

Yeah, oops. I guess the later ones were v8's and the first gen SHO's were v6's.

Swapped out the 3.0 for the 3.2 out of an ATX (3.2 has stronger rods) Custom Vortech S/C kit blowing 9psi (10 or 11 when the belt isn't slipping. Plus a lot of other things.

Which Quality? Only knew one guy that work there and I used to work with at P.H. 10 years ago
