Ok here is the issue. My can cranks over if I have some one jump my car. The batter is fully charged but if I turn the key you hear a clicking sound. Once the car is on it will not have issuses. I think that there may be a short. What do you think?

I had issues with this on my Integra, it would do it every 20-30 starts....I would just keep clicking it and it would eventually start....
Solenoid on starter? Starter switch?

I do not want to burn out the starter. But you do not feel the car engine turning over. There seem not to be any flywheel contact unless you use 2 batteris to run it.

If you have to have somebody jump your car in order for you to start it, then your battery obviously isn't working.

Could it be the altnator? The battery in only a few mounts old.

You are right. The battery was dead but I had it charged all day .

That could be why your battery is not charged, or you might have just got unlucky and got a crap battery, try changing the battery 1st, thats the least expensive thing to do.

Alternators help recharge your battery and feed your car's electrical needs while it is running. When starting a car only the battery and starter are used.
