View Full Version : Traffic signal phasing.
So I've got some Timing Sequence Sheets provided to me by Colorado Department of Transportation of the signal phasing of a specific intersection that I have requested. These are the signal phases of said intersection on the day that the accident occured. It's really just raw data, so it requires interpretation. I'm pretty positive that I've got it correct, but if anyone is familar with interpreting this kind of thing, that would be a wonderful help for me.
Thanks in advance.

Might want to post it if you want some help with it... lol
Well, I figure either someone knows it or not and they don't have to see it to tell me.

Doh. Hehe I thought maybe it was a CSV or XML or something. I'd still like to see it if you get a chance. :)

speaking of traffic lights, ALL lights in Colorado SUCK FUCKING DICK. Why the fuck can't Colorado DMV figure out how to time traffic lights in a logical way?

Because that would actually save tax payers money, time, make them less likely to speed and therefore diminishing city revenues.

Example?

I like how the lights on highway entrance ramps both go green at the same time, so it turns into either a drag race, or both people slamming on their brakes and screwing up traffic worse. Brilliant! In smarter parts of the country, the lights alternate so that traffic can flow smoothly. But then again, people actually know how to merge onto to a highway in those states, unlike here.

Everywhere I've lived, people say "drivers here are worse than (blank)"
Drivers are bad everywhere. Period.
Also, yeah, why the hell do both turn green? In California they had that system, and it was perfect.. alternating lights every two seconds, made merging into heavy traffic a breeze. I bet it'll change soon.

I always drag race. Old grandmas have nothing on me, I always win.
