Ok heres the deal...I ran a 14.648@96.67 with a 2.419 60' when it was 64 degrees out. Last night I ran a 14.621@95.24 with a 2.280 60' when it was 70 degrees. Both on 104 race gas. Why the hell isn't my time alot lower with the much improved 60' time? Also why is my trap speed lower with the faster time?

Was the car just not running right yesterday?
Here are the two to compare.

r/t-.651 .602
60'-2.280 2.419
330-6.184 6.323 330 is much better with the 14.621
1/8-9.451 9.556
mph-75.68 76.75 this is odd
1000-12.240 12.301
1/4-14.621 14.648
mph-95.24 96.67

Any thoughts on this?

Were your tires at a lower pressure on the run with the lower 60'? The only thing that I can think of is that the lower tire pressure would hurt the top end while improving the 60'. I've had that happen before.

possible that your trap speed is going to be lower with the better launch because of the distance left to the end of the track is going to be shorter.
whats really wierd is I hit 96 mph traps regardless if my 60' is 1.8 or 2.4.

to the best of my knowledge, the tire pressure was the same.

you still have the stock intercooler right? it could be heat soak, how much cool down time before that run? could it be the wind slowing you down? Im jsut throwing out some ideas

I didn't even think about heat soak. Boosted engines are pretty tempremental when it comes to intake temps. I know it makes a HUGE difference on my car.

Your right...yesterday there was like no one there so i had no cool down time. The other day i got to let the engine cool for at least an hour or two before each run...that must be it. I totally forgot about that.
