Is drilling/cutting/modification required?

no cutting or modification is needed, i already dirlled two holes on each side to attach it into the bumper

Also: how do you mount it? Double sided tape and two screws on the ends?

yes it covers the black thing. there is hardware where you can screw it onto like the middle of the bumper but i was just planning to use double sided tape and the two screws on the end.
