Did anyone else go to this today? It was ok. I was proud to see that a local dub keeps getting faster! Tyler (boraturbo) hit 14.6 today!!! Once I get the dough, I'll be there and faster! Anyone else run, or have any times??

Thanks brandon. I'm going to get motormounts next. Then TIP and then race springs. I'm not sure if i should get the TIP or race springs first.

Saw lots of cars, not many fast ones :( Also, wow, a lot of those people cannot race. I don't know how many people I saw go past the stagine lights, burn out street tires, or do generally other dumb things. Its cool though, looked like fun, I wish I could have run and gotten some respect for the GTP's though.

Things didn't go too smoothly though.
First run, my VTEC didn't work at all... this means the car won't go to the bigger lobes, and it also rev-limits at 6500rpm, instead of 8100 where it should. pretty much drove down the track like it was arapahoe road after that. LAME! 20.444 @ 47.21mph-- pretty much drove down the track like it was arapahoe road after that.
Second run, evertything goes well until my shift from 3rd to 4th is VERY sticky. John, I 3-2 shifted again, and enough black smoke came out the back to confuse me with an old, smelly diesel garbage truck. Good thing i had the 9000rpm range EXTREMELY rich on the V-AFC. And my run was just that: GARBAGE! 14.723 @ 79.25mph.
Thrid run: Things went well, but for some reason, my top end SUCKED! Nothing like my 12.8 potential mph. Launching was fine, and my R/T was a .508, yet something was bringing the top end down. A lot. I wanted to use the default excuse "I have a boost leak" but that didn't seem to be the answer.
Fourth run: Wow! Best 60' ever: 1.874, then things just suffered again. My best time of the day was a 13.459 @ 102.60mph.
I think I finally figured out what happened. The slicks I've been using deflate really fast. I knew when I put them on that morning at the track that they had lost pressure from the last T/T on Wenesday, so I went down to the compressor and "eyeball" inflated them. Yeah, I don't think I threw enough air in there. That would explain the best 60' ever, but the crappiest top end I've had so far.
So over-all the day was crappy, but I think I was STILL the fastest Import up there.

Turbo inlet pipe. I've heard mixed things about them.
Tyler, do the springs, that will help on the track.
Did anyone else see the Gremlin drag car? That thing was rad

I am, that's the best part. The Bandimere website says you must be 19 yrs old and a Student. So I went up there, and I was intially turned away, but Chan (DSM club of CO) said that this one particular girl let him enter, so I rolled back down there, and she's like, sure.
I turn 20 in 2.5 weeks, and graduated High School in 2000. Suckers.

As in an air intake pipe? If you can get cooler air into the turbo inlet, it's a good thing.

Those TIP just haven't worked very well on cars, especially the Neuspeed, where there's been loss on the Dyno with some cars. Yeah, it's good if it works. The ABD or the ATP are ok, tho...
For mounts, once again check with ABD, or search around. I drove a car with those and it makes a HUGE difference. And if you can't afford a good coilover system (I know I can't), I'd just get a good set of springs. For dubs I recommend H&R

Like the guy told you, Chris. "You have a flat tire!"
