I have only heard of a few minor problems with H-motors but I would consider them the best. I have ordered motors and other parts from them without a hitch two thumbs up!!

i'll just add my two cents even though it's been years. i got a gsr shortblock from steve way back when they first started the whole online deal (talking years ago). i had done some business with him before (both as a buyer and as a seller). to sum it all up i got sold a fucked up block that at the top of the list had all three drivers side mount holes stripped, no flywheel (which was to be included), there were valve adjustment nuts in the oilpan, didn't have the correct pistons i was told it would have, etc, etc. i honestly can't remember everything that was wrong with it since it's been awhile. we went back and forth for awhile and he said he was going to send me all this shit to make up for it yet i never got anything and they he just stopped responding to me. i ended up filing a deal with the BBB and he just flat out lied saying i told him the motor was fine and there was nothing wrong with it.
anyways, i ended up sleeving and selling the block and probably broke even just because of that (the sleeves).
i made it my goal to let everyone know for awhile and even put up a timeline of the details, only thing that remains though is this reference to the old page: http://www.automotivehelper.com/topic11721.htm
it was years ago but i still would never do business with him or send others his way.

Youre probably only one of very few that had bad business with them, very good place to do business with, I'd recommend them to anyone.

Appreciate the feedback guys, i think i will order a B16A from them because it's only $599. People are tryin to sell just a B16 head for close to that...

got my B16 and some SiR conversion stuff, everything was shipped fast and in great condition. Most people get writing all over there valve cover and paint damage, everything looked new. The engine fired up first try with no codes.

my friend had a small problem with his jdm front end with them. the headlights they sent were visibly damaged, after a long process of arguments over the phone they eventually replaced them but it was a hassle. they're not perfect but prices are good and they do what they can as far as customer service.
Being an HT junkie, I hear nothing but good news.

Think about how many people they have to deal with on a daily basis. No company is going to be able to please everyone all the time, but they do a good job keeping most people happy.

yeah i agree with you there, but posts like this should include all feedback whether positive or negative, there's not one company out there who will give you perfect service everytime but if you read a post with 100 comments that are all positive you are going to have the assumption that you are going to get perfect service. Its like a sellers rating on ebay. I have heard good things too other than that one experience.
