ok, heres the deal, and hopefully you guys can help me out on this one.

my girlfriend is a big time autoxer. if you know her, sshhh, i want to try to do this for a birthday gift.

on the 4 point harness in her car, one is mounted to the c-pillar (stock shoulder belt location) and the other to the where the buckle is (lower center of the back seats). i wanted to know if any of you guys know a place that has or makes harness bars (?) for the c-pillar to raise both the mounting points up. the whole crushed spine thing doesn't sound to appealing. this will be for a '95 DSM. i've checked with racer wholesale, RRE, and a couple other road/race shops to no avail.

any tips or options would be appreciated.

p.s. i don't have the money to get her a 4 point cage to do this. thats why i'm looking for a simple solution.

I have a friend that rallys a gvr4 and another friend that rallys a 1st gen. I will ask them if they have any ideas.
It sounds like something that you might have to get creative and build though!

thats what i figuered.

i asked her why she doesn't just attach the harness to the rear STB. appearently, the SCCA doesn't like that very much. you can't have safety equipment bolted to suspension points.
